The most idyllic french retreat you could ever want.
 

Small, but perfectly formed, the bread oven at Le Coussol Haute is such a gem I actually didn’t want to leave…ever!
The hosts, Lynn and Brian went out of their way to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible.

The gîte is fully equipped with everything you could possibly want including a very thoughtful welcome basket including some rather nice french wine! The beds are super comfy with gorgeous linens and towels are provided for both showering and the heated pool! 

 

The pool area is brilliant with Bluetooth speakers, outdoor kitchen, barbecue, a swing for the kids and plenty of chairs and sun loungers in the sun or under the shade.

 

The airport transfers made things so easy along with the added bonus of having the use of the very fun Fiat Abarth for our 6 day stay.

It’s definitely an escape into rural French countryside, so if you want to leave the hustle and bustle behind you’re gonna love it. But do make sure you go to the nearby Sunday market in St Antonin Noble Val. It’s incredible!!

The Bread Oven has been so thoughtfully and beautifully restored and our stay was pretty magical.

In fact, I’ve already rebooked for next year!

Just wanted to thank you for what can only be described and fabulous 5 days with you at the Bread Oven. 

 

Your attention to detail and care from the time of booking, to the airport transfers even down to warm greetings and little treats and provisions in the fridge on arrival. 

 

Rarely does everything you read on a website actually deliver, but you have absolutely done it. 

 

Beautiful location, furnishings and beds, warm and generous hospitality, soft top Abarth, electric bikes and the wonderful nature all around, the BBQ, Salt water pool and daily fresh towels. 

 

I wish you both every success with it because I think it’s very wonderful.

Visited last week for 4 nights , wish it was longer , an amazing place with amazing hosts! stayed in the bread oven as only 2 of us, very special and everything you need, beautiful area and so peaceful and so pretty. Great villages to visit in the area and Lynn and Brian gave us lots of information on places to visit and dine.

 

They made us so welcome We arrived as guests and left as friends. Cannot wait to visit again .

 

4 days not long enough as so many places to see and also a fantastic place just to chill and spend time in nature, so much so that we stayed in most nights as it was so comfortable we decided to have dinner on the terrace watching the sun set and listening to all the beautiful country sounds.

Immaculate and homley . a very special place !

Wow what a wonderful place!

The immaculate accommodation in the heart of the French countryside, yet close enough to some lovely villages it was just the tonic we needed.

​

We will be back and wish our gracious hosts Lynn and Brian nothing but the best with this hidden gem, which is a real labour of love and it shows in spades.
